Superstar cellist Yo-Yo Ma visits the Palmetto State on this edition of Carolina Live! He’s the special guest for an October 2014 concert with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and their venerable conductor to play the powerful concerto by Edward Elgar. The concert opens with an equally powerful work: Tchaikovsky’s fateful F Minor symphony. The program is rounded out with lighter fare from a November 2014 Chamber Series concert featuring a much-loved Mozart piano concerto and soloist David Gross.
