The first of two programs from the USC School of Music's innovative chamber music series Chamber Innovista. The first half of this week's show has music from a March, 2009, concert featuring work by Camille Saint-Saëns and the little known Wenzeslaus Matiegka. Then we'll fast forward to November, 2011, for a performance from the USC School of Music's award-winning Southern Exposure series. They present a semi-staged production of Igor Stravinsky’s sardonic Histoire du soldat – The Soldier’s Tale.
