Ensembles from off the beaten path get a chance in the spotlight on this edition of the program. From Fayetteville Lebanese-born Fouad Fakhouri leads the symphony in iconic works depicting Spain and Rome, as well as his own music inspired by the Spanish painter Goya. Then in Salisbury soloist Marjorie Bagley dazzles in a concerto by Saint-Saens.
